Getting started

SoliCRM is a complete CRM — sales, service, commerce and automation — built on the Soli web framework. You run it on your own server, your data stays in your own SoliDB database, and every screen is code you can read and change.

What you need

• Soli 2.5 or newer (soli --version)
• SoliDB running locally (default http://localhost:6745)
• Optional: SoliKV for caching and an SMTP server for outgoing email

Install and run

git clone <your fork> solicrm && cd solicrm
cp .env.example .env          # database, secrets, public URL
soli db:migrate up            # create collections and indexes
soli db:seed                  # demo team, accounts, deals, cases, invoices…
soli serve . --dev            # http://localhost:5011

Tailwind CSS is compiled automatically when the server starts.

Your first sign-in

The demo seed creates four users who all share the password demo-password-2026:

In development, the sign-in page offers a Quick login list: one click signs you in as any demo user.

Find your way around

• The top bar searches every object and opens your user menu (security, language, setup, log out).
• The navigation lists the main objects; More holds the rest (quotes, orders, invoices, credit notes, contracts, console…).
• Every list page has search, filters, sorting and saved list views; every record page has details, related lists, activity and field history.

Choose your language

SoliCRM speaks English, French and Spanish. Pick yours in the user menu (or on the sign-in page): it is saved on your profile and follows you on every device. Dates, numbers and amounts follow the language too.
